Guild of Agricultural Journalists

The Guild of Agricultural Journalists represents reporters, broadcasters, photographers and media specialists working in agriculture, commercial horticulture and other rural industries. Members range from agricultural and environment correspondents on national newspapers to specialists writing for trade magazines as well as communicators working in PR agencies, companies and other organisations in the sector.

Popular workshop set for re-run
The Guild's first photography workshop, organised by Rachel Queenborough for the Midlands branch, proved so successful that a re-run of the event is already being planned.

Ideas and initiatives from IFAJ
Guild member Joe Watson, agricultural editor of the Press & Journal, is the British representative on executive committee of the IFAJ (International Federation of Agricultural Journalists).

Friday, July 2: Midlands Group-organised photography workshop run by professional photographer and lecturer, near Telford, Shropshire, 10am to 6pm. £95 including lunch and refreshments. Optional evening meal and accommodation if required. Details.
