Official Guild delegate to the ENAJ General Assembly and Annual Event, Brussels, 9-11th December

Interested in European agri politics? Then apply for this all-expenses paid visit to Brussels to take part in the ENAJ's Annual Event and help represent the British Guild at the general assembly meeting.

"We'll have the opportunity to mix with European policymakers, influencers and fellow journalists," says Adrian Bell, Guild chairman and ENAJ representative. "In June this year, Wales-based freelance Gaina Morgan was our second delegate on the ENAJ study visit to Denmark; she had a very productive and enjoyable visit judging by her Guild website report and I'm delighted that we have a chance to give another member a unique reporting and networking opportunity."

Participants will be able to question agriculture commissioner Dacian Ciolos and other policy-makers on EU issues affecting British farmers and take part in a visits programme.

"Details of the Annual Event have yet to be announced but it is sure to be something informative and relevant to journalists covering European agricultural politics on national or regional publications or in a freelance capacity," says Adrian.

Members should send a brief submission explaining why they wish to participate on the trip to Adrian Bell by noon Friday, October 19. Travel to and from Brussels (on Sunday, December 9 and Tuesday, December 11) together with accommodation, are fully covered by the European Commission for this visit.
