Guild Harvest Service & Lunch

Places available!

Although tickets for the Guild’s 2011 Harvest Lunch sold out very quickly, some ticket-holders are now unable to attend and so a handful of places are available.

To secure one, contact Guild secretary Clemmie Gleeson immediately by telephone - 01692 402853.

The event is on Thursday this week at Stationers Hall in the City of London. For security reasons, all ticket holders must have photo ID (ie card type driving licence or passport) with them.

The annual Harvest Service is on the same day, a short walk away at St Brides Church, Fleet Street, starting 10.45am.

Charitable Trust Auction – pre-event bids

Honorary Guild member, Grieve Carson, former secretary of The Farmers Club, has again generously donated two Wimbledon Centre Court tickets to be auctioned for the Guild Charitable Trust at the Harvest Lunch. The tickets, for seats located in a prime position opposite the Royal Box, are for Tuesday, June 26 during the 2012 championships.

Anyone keen to get their hands on these much sought-after tickets but not attending  the Harvest Lunch can put in a pre-event bid by contacting Trust chairman Stephen Howe by email  ( or by telephone – 01342 893018.

Charitable Trust Draw – stubs and unsold tickets

The draw being held at the Harvest Lunch is one of the main sources of capital revenue for the Guild’s Charitable Trust. Please sell the tickets sent to all Guild members and return the stubs and proceeds to Trust treasurer Diane Montague either on the day or to arrive by Wednesday this week.

The same goes for any unsold tickets to ensure there are plenty available to purchase at the Harvest Lunch.
