ENAJ, the European network of agricultural journalists, now has its own dedicated website to help in its goal of sharing food and farming knowledge throughout the European Union.

Information on the organisation and its activities was previously published on the AG-Press.eu website of the European Commission’s DG Agri department and which continues to provide a ‘best selection’ of information, facts and figures regarding agriculture and rural development.

The European Network of Agricultural Journalists (ENAJ) was founded in Brussels in December 2011 and now has an elected committee of farm and rural journalists from different countries to organise its affairs – see News.

Activities planned for 2013 include a trip to Italy in April to see the effect of last year’s earthquake on the agricultural industry; a briefing with EU agricultural ministers at the Informal Council meeting in Ireland in May; a study tour to England in July; and the annual assembly in Brussels in December.
