A dozen of the Guild’s professional photography members have again excelled in supplying a set of evocative and eye-catching images of agriculture and rural life for use on the annual calendar published by the Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution (RABI).

“We’re extremely grateful to the photographers for donating the images,” says Nick Bond, Guild member and RABI press officer. “They not only make a highly attractive calendar but also illustrate the outstanding work available to publications, agencies and other organisations needing good  images from our industry.”

As well as being attractive to the eye, the RABI calendar is also very practical, with plenty of space to write in daily engagements and notes. It costs just £6 (plus postage and packing) from RABI – visit the organisation’s website for full details.

With the images donated by Guild member photographers and production costs supported by the NFU Mutual Charitable Trust and logistics specialist DHL – whose Agri-food team members recently became Friends of the Guild – all sale proceeds will go towards the RABI’s invaluable work.

“The Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution is the national charity for those involved in farming in England and Wales,” explains Nick Bond. “While the main focus of its work has always been the retired and disabled, the RABI also provides assistance to working families facing financial hardship as a result of a crisis such as illness, bereavement or other life-affecting events.”
