Farm machinery specialist and Guild member James Lane is freelancing again after a spell in machine sales and marketing.

James worked as a freelance before joining Farmers Guardian as machinery editor. He spent the past six months with Agrifac UK, handling sales and marketing activities for the company’s sprayers and sugar beet harvesters.

“But I’ve missed the ever changing aspects of agricultural machinery news and features, and especially the technology part of the industry,” he says. “I’m eager to get back behind the wheel of both large and small machinery, handle press briefings and provide titles with clean, crisp and accurate copy.”

He is also offering a press release and marketing communications service  for small businesses from his Suffolk base, and is happy to hear from any companies who would like to gain a fresh approach to their brand awareness activity.

James can be contacted via mobile 07990 592819, or email. Alternatively, tweet him on his @jamesharrylane Twitter address.
