Specialist agricultural PR and marketing agency Pinstone Communications has recruited Guild member Sarah Peacocke and several more additions to its growing team.

Sarah is well-known across the agricultural industry as the owner and CEO of Stoneleigh-based Pharo Communications and has been an active member of the Guild. She has served on the management Council, has gold and silver medals from the International Federation of Agricultural Journalists (IFAJ) for her contributions and is a Fellow of the Guild.

After a 12-year spell in South Africa and Mozambique, she returned to the UK in autumn 2013 and took on the role of marketing manager for both the Cereals Event and Fruit Focus for Haymarket Exhibitions.

She joined Pinstone as a director in September, and says she is thrilled to be back working with an agency and ks looking forward to growing the business alongside owner and fellow Guild member Catherine Linch.

“This appointment comes at a particularly exciting time for Pinstone,” says Catherine. “We’ve been successful in gaining a number of new high profile accounts, and the recent level of recruitment confirms our commitment to offering our clients access to the very best marketing and communications individuals.”

Other new appointments include junior account manager Sophie Wilesmith and two account executives, Diane Hemming and Rosie Hopkins.

“Sophie has a wealth of marketing experience, which she gained from a fruit processing farm in Herefordshire,” notes Catherine. “She is currently working on the EnergyNow Expo event PR as well as a new and high profile local PR venture.”

Diane and Rosie both have strong agricultural experience, and are recent graduates from agricultural universities. Diane is working closely with Pinstone’s Helen Harcombe on the Nuffield Scholarships Trust, BPEX, HGCA and Trident Feeds accounts, while Rosie is working alongside Hannah Lloyd to support client activity for Rumenco, Bayer Animal Health and ABN.
