Former Farmers Weekly livestock editor, Sarah Alderton, who currently runs Farm Gate Media Limited, is to join specialist agriculture sector PR agency Agribusiness Communications Limited (ABC).
After nearly eight years of operating successfully, Sarah has developed a strong client base in the livestock and farm business sectors. The development will strengthen ABC’s growing portfolio of leading agribusiness clients, reinforcing its position as a leader in the industry.
With 17 years’ experience as an agricultural journalist, Sarah Alderton made the decision to move to ABC to enhance the services offered to her clients.
She said: “Joining ABC allows for improved knowledge exchange between colleagues and the sharing of resources, which will benefit both existing and new clients. This move also expands ABC’s portfolio, particularly in the livestock sector, strengthening its position as one of the largest specialist communications agencies in this field.”
“This is an exciting opportunity for both parties,” added Sarah. “We’re looking forward to working together to amplify our clients’ voices and drive meaningful change in the agricultural industry.”
ABC Managing Director David Butler added: “We are thrilled to welcome Sarah into the ABC family. Her wealth of knowledge and her strong relationships within the livestock sector perfectly complement the skillset within our own team. This highly positive development broadens our expertise and strengthens our client service offering.”
Sarah will formally join the ABC team on 2nd January 2025.
