Nottingham University graduate Chloe Dunne has joined the Guild after taking up post as content manager for rural PR and marketing agency Eve Communications

Chloe’s wide-ranging role will be rooted in copywriting but is designed to help evolve the company’s video, design and photography services and create engaging content for distribution across print, digital and social media channels.

Based in Leicestershire, Chloe graduated earlier this year with a first-class degree in Agriculture and Business Management.

She completed an industrial placement year with the NFU Food Chain team in 2017, working on internal and external member communications including the Proud of Poultry and #BuyMyTurkey campaigns.

Chloe took up post on 23 September but has already written press releases, magazine articles, shot videos and created social media posts for Eve Communications’ clients.

She said: “this is the first step in my career and I’m excited to learn more about PR and marketing. It’s a really important and exciting time for farming and it’s our job to help communicate effectively with farmers and the rural community.

“I’ve joined the Guild because it offers a great opportunity to meet like-minded people, as well as the fantastic training, travel and CPD opportunities… also because Ben told me to!”

Away from the office, Chloe is a pig and hen fanatic with a love for all things farmy. She has her own small holding and enjoys spending time on her partner’s beef and arable farm.

Eve Communications is owned and run by BGAJ director Ben Pike and his wife Katie at Byfield on the border of Warwickshire, Northamptonshire and Oxfordshire.

Chloe’s email address is chloe@evecommunications.co.uk and phone number 07375 226038.
