Claire Saunders, director of the Prince’s Countryside Fund, will be guest speaker at the Guild’s Harvest Lunch, which takes place on 11 October 2018.

With the government’s Agriculture Bill heralding the biggest changes to the farm sector since 1947, Claire will talk about Engaging Farmers for Change.

She will underline the importance of supporting smaller farm businesses and highlight ways the Prince’s fund helps to improve the resilience of family farms.

Few tickets remain for the Harvest Service and Lunch – the flagship event of the Guild year – and all places must be booked by Friday (5 October).

The Harvest Service will start at 11am at St Bride’s Church, Fleet Street; followed by lunch at 12.15pm at Painters’ Hall, Little Trinity Lane, EC4V 2AD.

For those unable to attend the church service, coffee will be available from 11am at Painters’ Hall.

Members, friends and guests at the lunch will be asked to help “fill the chairman’s boots” to raise money for the Guild’s Charitable Trust.

Thanks to very generous support from our 2018 sponsors, we have been able to set extremely attractive ticket prices.

The lunch will feature rose veal sponsored by the Buitelaar Group.
