The Guild is pleased to announce that farming conservationist and author Jake Fiennes will be our special guest speaker at this year’s Harvest Lunch.

Jake is author of the book Land Healer – how farming can save Britain’s countryside – published this summer to rave reviews.

He is also director of conservation at the Holkham Estate, which covers about 10,000 ha (25,000 acres) of north Norfolk.

The estate includes a farming business growing potatoes, sugar beet and barley – and a nature reserve visited by almost one million people a year.

Jake’s revolutionary approach to land management has seen him nurture wildlife species while helping to increase crop yields across the estate.

The Guild’s most popular annual event returns to Stationers’ Hall, London, on Thursday, 13 October, 2022.

The service will begin at 11am at St Bride’s Church, Fleet Street, where a service of thanksgiving will take place, including hymns from the much-loved choir.

Then, at 12.15pm, our drinks reception and three-course Harvest Lunch will commence at Stationers’ Hall.

Tickets for the lunch are on sale now, priced at £70 for members and £90, plus the Eventbrite booking fee.

There is no charge for attending the church service, and you don’t need to book a ticket.

This is the Guild’s flagship annual event and tickets are selling quickly, so please book early to avoid disappointment.
