British Guild of Agricultural Journalists Harvest Lunch – 10 October 2024
Guests at this year’s BGAJ Harvest Lunch will have their tastebuds delighted in what promises to be a fantastic feast of British food.
Served in the impressive surroundings of Stationers’ Hall in London, the fabulous three-course lunch will follow the Guild’s traditional Harvest Service, which takes place in St Bride’s Church, Fleet Street.
Beginning at 11am on Thursday 10 October, the service of thanksgiving will include hymns from the much-loved choir.
Members will then be able to catch up with friends, colleagues and guests from across the UK at a drinks reception at Stationer’s Hall, which will begin at 12.15pm.
This year’s three-course lunch menu will feature an array of British produce, including:

Chicken, leek and black pudding roulade accompanied by a homemade Piccalilli
Roasted heirloom beets, white radish puree and citrus dressing (vegetarian option)

Slow braised lamb shoulder steak, colcannon mash and rosemary roasted root vegetables
Individual vegetable wellington, seasonal vegetables, potato puree (vegetarian and GF option)

Plum frangipane tart, plum compote, crème fraiche
Chocolate Brownie with raspberry sorbet (vegetarian and GF option)

Coffee and petit fours
Tickets for this year’s flagship BGAJ event are on sale now, with tickets for members costing £88, and £110 for non-members, plus booking fee.
Attendance at the church service is free-of-charge and does not require a ticket.
