The IFAJ has several committees which may be of interest to BGAJ members. If you would like to join any of the committees and help shape the IFAJ for the future, please get in touch with Olivia Cooper via email: international@gaj.org.uk.
The committees are: Freedom of the press, CPD, membership (how IFAJ can help member guilds) and host liaison (supporting congress host countries).
In addition, IFAJ is updating its website (ifaj.org), so if you have any comments or ideas please get in touch.
Finally, there have been several webinars held recently which have been recorded and are available online. The first was ‘Understanding plant breeding’, the second ‘Caring for soils: Measure, monitor, manage, and the third ‘Principles and principals: Balancing the roles of the journalist and communicator’.
