Job opportunity with Perendale Publishers

Published on 19th July 2022

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a journalist who has an interest in what happens to wheat and grains after they are harvested.

The post is based in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, with a small publishing business producing three monthly magazines with international circulation covering flour and feed milling, aqua feeds and pet food. The company also has an annual directory.

In addition to calling for and processing submissions, this position would suit someone who enjoys meeting people from other cultures as some international travel is required to exhibitions, conferences and company visits. The successful applicant will have good communication skills and the ability to write and report on the challenges faced by these industries along with concerns and achievements of key companies and individuals.

All three magazines are strong in print with digital support through their respective websites, apps, weekly e-Newsletters, daily blogs and a range of social media to ensure the widest awareness and distribution of each.

This is a full-time position with some benefits and a salary that is in keeping with the experience, skill and motivation brought to the job. If this is a career move you’ve been looking for then please apply in writing to Roger Gilbert at rogerg@perendale.co.uk
