This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about marketing and communications.
Agrimetrics has created a fast-growing data resource and data science capabilities specifically for the agrifood sector in order to drive greater efficiency and sustainability.
This is a world first – enabling new insights and innovations to be derived from the connections and analysis of the vast amounts of data produced across the food system.
Agrimetrics is one of four Government-funded AgriTech Centres set up to harness leading UK research and expertise in order to deliver greater innovation, resilience and wealth across the agrifood sector.
The role is proactive and varied, requiring a creative thinker who can work independently to prioritise many competing demands.
It will suit someone who has some experience in journalism, social media, PR or marketing and is looking for that next important step in their career.
Key responsibilities will include day to day management of the digital channels (website and social media), delivering product marketing campaigns and widening the reach and influence of Agrimetrics.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication and organisational skills and experience of working with CMS and CRM tools.
Given the academic and science roots of Agrimetrics and its founding partners, a strong academic background would be desirable but not essential. More important, is the ability to translate complex technology and terminology in a compelling but accurate way.
Agrimetrics has reached an important milestone in its short life. It now has a fast growing data resource and data technology that enables any amount of data from any format to be connected and analysed.
This is an exciting time to join a company that holds the key to delivering new - and sustainable - solutions for the whole agrifood sector.
The company is based in both Harpenden and Reading with regular travel required between them both – as well as further afield for events and meetings.
If you feel that you have the skills and experience to take on this new role please send a covering letter and CV to Debbie Beaton (firstname.lastname@example.org) or telephone 0757 266 7298 to discuss.
