The Guild of Agricultural Journalists is inviting members and non-members alike to a special evening of gin tasting and socialising on Thursday 25 March at 5.30pm.

Tickets are on sale now, with attendees receiving a bespoke gin experience pack from the Warner’s distillery to enjoy while listening to the brand’s founder – Tom Warner – give his personal tasting notes via Zoom.

The gin tasting is sandwiched between a very short AGM and quick-fire presentations on the opportunities and experiences which come with Guild membership. Breakout rooms will then open for further socialising and networking.

The event has been designed for all to enjoy, but the Guild is especially keen to appeal to members who have recently joined, or who have never experienced one of its events before. If members know of anyone who would benefit from the chance to learn more about the Guild, please encourage them to buy a ticket.

Global crop protection and seed brand, Corteva Agriscience, has pledged its generous support to the event, allowing members to attend for the subsidised price of £25, while non-members can buy a ticket for £45.

Ticket holders will receive three hand-picked gins from the Warner’s product range plus premium mixers, a glass and a bar blade.

A non-alcoholic alternative is also available, and those wishing to attend the event without the gin tasting experience can do so for free, but must also register for a ticket.
