Published on 16th September 2021

Farmers Guardian / Dairy Farmer Reporter: Livestock Specialist Salary: Competitive Location: Preston, Lancashire/home-based

Do you have a passion for agriculture and in particular the livestock sector?

Would attending agricultural events and shows, technical meetings, and visiting farms to get the latest news and developments be your kind of day?

Then we have the job for you.

Farmers Guardian and Dairy Farmer are looking for a livestock specialist to join the livestock reporting team, providing content for both print titles and the website.

Writing experience is preferable, but not essential, however the successful candidate will have knowledge of the livestock sector and in particular will have an interest in dairy farming.

You will need an aptitude for writing and getting the story over in print and online, and you will need to be flexible in terms of your working day/week, as well as being prepared to travel. You will also need a full driving licence and your own vehicle.

The position offers a competitive salary and excellent package, including 25 days holiday, contributory pension plan and free life assurance.
