Harvest Lunch guests wanting to continue to enjoy their time in London after this year’s event have a plush new venue reserved for them.
For years the unofficial after-party has been attended by upwards of 50 people at The Pavilion End on Watling Street.
But following feedback that the venue involves a long walk and can be crowded, the Guild has reserved space at The Happenstance on nearby Paternoster Square for 9 October 2025.
The bar has a wider selection of drinks and is less than one minute’s walk from Stationer’s Hall. Space will be reserved specifically for Harvest Lunch guests from 4pm-6pm, but the venue is open until late for those who wish to stay longer.
Guild Chair Ben Pike said: “Stationer’s Hall has to be vacated by 4pm and feedback from previous years tells us that people would like more time to catch up with friends and colleagues.
“The Happenstance is a lovely venue and so close. We hope it encourages more guests to stay on and enjoy the day for as long as they wish.”
No booking is required for those wishing to attend.
Early bird tickets for the Harvest Lunch are on sale now at the heavily discounted price of £89.55 for members and £114.47 for non members.
