New Guild member Amy Eggleston is the founder of Pastures Green Communications – a PR and marketing company striving to help rural and agricultural businesses promote themselves.
She specialises in working with agricultural diversification projects and enjoys assisting farm businesses to tell their story and promote British agriculture.
Amy previously worked for a large corporate agency in London before setting up her own business.
As well as her role with Pastures Green, Amy is also heavily involved in her family dairy farming business, based in Leicestershire.
She spends lots of time on the farm working alongside her father, and documents her journey on social media along the way.
This has given her many opportunities within the industry, and she currently writes a monthly column for Farmers Weekly.
Additionally, this year she was awarded winner of Alltech’s Connect Competition, for promoting British agriculture to consumers, meaning she will join the team and travel to Kentucky for the ONE Alltech Ideas Conference next May.
