A new magazine for commercial carrot growers has been launched by Warners Group Publications to complement the publisher’s long-established Potato Review title.

According to editor Stephanie Cornwall, Carrot Review aims to keep all involved in carrot growing and production up to date with the latest news and innovations in terms of varieties, agronomy, research and mechanisation through the supply chain to the shop shelves and consumers’ plates.

“By focussing on the individual crop and its journey from farm to fork, we can provide a targeted flow of information and marketing opportunities for all those involved in carrot growing,” says Stephanie.

“Carrot Review has been launched in response to a number of enquiries we’ve had from suppliers and partners we’ve worked with over the years within the food supply and FMCG sectors, and I hope it will eventually become as well-respected as Potato Review and its associated website.

“With regular input from the British Carrot Growers’ Association and AHDB, alongside insights from scientific, agricultural, consultancy and manufacturing sectors, we’re looking forward to creating a regular sourcebook for the carrot-growing sector and would welcome any news, product updates and advice to share with our readers.”

At first, Warners plans to publish four issues per year; the first is available in digital format here then click the link.
