Press registration for CropTec, a new arable technical event being staged by Briefing Media, publisher of Farmers Guardian and Arable Farming, opened at the end of September, says Cedric Porter, a Member of the Guild promoting the event.

“CropTec will feature leading speakers from organisations such as the HGCA, the NFU, BBSRC, NIAB/TAG, Openfield, Velcourt, Hutchinsons, Harper Adams University and the Game & Wildlife Conservation Trust, so it should provide plenty of copy,” he adds.

In addition to seminars on four key areas of crop production – crop nutrition, crop protection, plant breeding and precision farming – there will be a series of demonstrations related to those topics. Visitors will also have the opportunity to test drive the latest sprayers and a wide-ranging exhibition will showcase the latest crop technology.

Journalist Members of the Guild can apply for a press ticket by registering here. Free wifi access will be available in press room at the event, which is being held on Wednesday 30 and Thursday 31 October at the East of England Showground, Peterborough, where Briefing Media’s LAMMA show will be held for the first time in January next year.
