RDP searching for Senior Account Manager

Agricultural PR and marketing agency RDP is looking for a Senior Account Manager who is task focused, with excellent attention to detail and a desire to deliver a great client experience.

You will be customer orientated with a drive to achieve goals and deliver excellence every time.

Knowledge of the agricultural sector is essential and the closing date is Friday 22 January.

About RDP

RDP is a specialist marketing agency delivering exceptional integrated campaigns to businesses in the Agri-business and Animal Health sector.

Senior Account Managers at RDP lead campaign and project work. SAMs allocate work to the appropriate creative team and use project management tools to make sure the project is delivered on time and in line with client expectations, all the time checking in with clients and keeping them up to date with progress and sign offs. SAMs consistently achieve excellence in delivery by understanding and exceeding individual Client needs. Management minded, our SAMs deliver brilliant campaigns that wow the client.

Qualifications

  • Agriculture related degree or equivalent experience  
  • 5 years' plus of proven success in either client or agency side  
  • Strong presentation and communication skills

Job Description

The right candidate will have knowledge of the agriculture sector and be a team player who will support two other senior team members and be an integral part of the team. Working primarily on a fast-paced dairy client at Group level, you will understand how to work across different European cultures.

We have a standardised way of working and strong strategic focus, both of which you must embrace and be the guardian of. Great project management is a must in this role. Consistency, quality, efficiency and clarity will be your mantra. From timing plans to quotes, proofing to brand consistency, you’ll proactively manage every aspect of the campaign delivery.

Being a self-starter is vital – this is a fast-paced account and duplication of effort is not on the agenda. So knowing your responsibilities and owning them fully, without requirement for your AD to check things are in motion, or have been done is where you need to be (for example: a client changes a briefing date on a WIP call – you proactively update the timing plan and recirculate key dates to the team). Multiple campaigns will be running at any one time, often with only one or two days break between finishing one campaign and starting another!

Knowledge of artwork specs and delivery requirements is needed. Digital experience is preferred but not central to the role currently. Proficiency in Powerpoint, Excel, Google docs, Teams etc is essential.

We have crafted this brand in-house and have a huge amount of knowledge and expertise. While we are happy to be pushed, your skill lies in listening and applying that knowledge to your work.

Internet connection essential – multiple client video calls per week (if not per day!).

Main Tasks

  • Campaign/project support (all timing plans, quotes, WIP calls, proofing checks, client nuances)  
  • High standards of delivery and attention to detail, delivering to the brief, timings and budgets  
  • Support AD by flagging jobs falling outside of RDP quality (being delivered to standard, on time and on budget)  
  • Strong working relationship with client and co workers

Contract type
