Guild member Sandy Cox is keen to get his boots muddy again by taking on commissions for freelance or full-time journalism and PR work.
“While always maintaining a foothold in agricultural journalism, in recent years I’ve been assisting a group of disability charities to develop their publications, websites and PR,” says Sandy. “But I miss the ‘buzz’ and camaraderie that there always is in the farming and horticultural sector.”
Sandy, a former Farmers Weekly and Big Farm Weekly staffer and Guild journalism award winner, offers a range of writing and PR skills from his base in Northumberland, just south of the Scottish Border. They include writing, editing, publication development and website content creation.
“In PR, I’ve worked with major clients in the machinery, livestock and arable sectors,” notes Sandy, whose contact details are: Sandy Cox, 9 Main Street, Lowick, Berwick-upon-Tweed TD15 2UD. Tel: 01289 388409 Mob: 0750 2001950 Email.
