Guild member Howard Venters is delighted that his Shepherd Publishing concern has been appointed publisher to the Worshipful Company of Woolmen. It will publish the Company’s official membership newsletter The Woolman.
The Worshipful Company of Woolmen numbers 43 in the tradition of the City of London livery companies and will this year be parading with two horse-drawn floats in the Lord Mayor’s Show on Saturday, November 12, in co-operation with the British Wool Marketing Board and the Campaign for Wool, plus other sponsors promoting all aspects of wool and the importance of using natural fibre.
Howard says: “We are honoured to have been asked to produce the official newsletter for such a prestigious livery company as the Woolmen.”
