Sandy Cox, a Member of the Guild based in Northumberland, has launched a new service for in-house and agency PR and marketing professionals. PR HELP! aims to provide much-needed back-up when deadlines threaten or new work needs to be fitted urgently into an already over-full schedule.

“We offer enormous experience, a pragmatic approach and the ability to tackle almost any aspect of PR work,” says Sandy, who runs Ideas in Print, the PR, marketing and design consultancy, with his graphic designer partner Julia Bowes. “We can handle anything from a simple press release to the complete production of a multi-language customer magazine and everything in between.”

That includes website content creation, customer testimonials, brochure design, newsletter production for print or email, video scripting and direction, website functionality testing and content appraisal, and production of annual reports – in fact, any of the 101 other things involved in PR.

Sandy and Julia established Ideas in Print in 1987 and are experienced in working with local and multi-national businesses, government agencies and charities.

“We know what it’s like when a client calls unexpectedly with a new project when you’ve already got a full workload,” says Sandy. “You have to take it on, even though you can’t see how you will fit it in.

“That’s the sort of situation when our PR HELP! service is molst valuable; just brief us on the project and we’ll make sure it’s completed and delivered on time,” says Sandy. “Whether it’s a one-off job or a regular commitment, we only charge for the work we do without a retainer.”
