Members of the Guild met the new owner of Farmers Weekly at an online event hosted by the Midlands branch last week.
Mark Allen joined a Zoom meeting with his editor Karl Schneider for the 80-minute event which was watched by more than 50 attendees.
The Mark Allen Group – which features a wide-ranging portfolio of specialist titles – bought Farmers Weekly from Reed Business Information.
Karl Schneider brought members up to speed with both the print edition and the title’s website, FWi, discussing notable trends during lockdown, how the portfolio is adjusting to the new norm and helping the sector to gear up before the end of the Brexit transition period and face as yet, an unknown future.
