Young journalists sought for EU trip and contest

THE European Network of Agricultural Journalists (ENAJ) is on the look out for British Guild members aged under 35 to attend a specially arranged trip to Brussels.

The Guild is being asked to nominate up to two young journalists to attend a three day visit to Brussels in September. For full details see the BGAJ-ENAJ eAlert here.

The visit will consist of: 

  • Wednesday, Septmber 24: Welcome dinner (offered by DG-AGRI).
  • Thursday, September 25: Study visits in the EU institutions.
  • Friday, September 26: Field trip.
  • Saturday, September 27: Departure day.

Hotel accommodation will be paid for each participant, but they must pay their own flight/train costs. 

If you are interested in attending this please send an email to Guild council U35s coordinator Ben Briggs setting out briefly why you want go. The deadline is Monday, July 28.

ENAJ has also launched a written journalism competition open to Guild members aged 35 years or less.
