A unique opportunity to visit the BBC rural affairs programming unit

Next Tuesday - April 16, 1745hrs for 1800hrs

A few places are still available on the Guild's visit to the BBC's new rural affairs programming unit in Bristol. Guild Members and Friends will meet members of the BBC’s food, farming and countryside programming team and learn more about reporting strategy and programme making.

The event will be hosted by the BBC rural affairs editor Jeremy Hayes at the team’s new head office in Whiteladies Road, Bristol BS8 2LR.

- Discuss radio and televion broadcasting with rural affairs editor Jeremy Hayes - Meet the production team behind Radio 4’s Farming Today and On Your Farm programmes. - Meet Countryfile series producer Teresa Bogan and producer Matt Gull. - Visit two dedicated Radio 4 recording studios.

This unique event will be rounded off with a question and answer session led by Jeremy Hayes and Matt Gull.  

Please register with Midlands secretary Liz Snaith by Friday, April 12 to attend - Guild Members and Friends are welcome to bring a colleague.
