Perkins Power on the Farm Award

A long-running award generously sponsored by Perkins, the Power on the Farm Award recognises articles or broadcasts covering 'farm power' in all its forms.

For more than 40 years, Perkins has worked with the British Guild of Agricultural Journalists (BGAJ) and our annual Power on the Farm Award is now a highlight in the Guild’s event calendar.

This award is a chance to win a generous cash prize and a spectacular day out – usually in London – followed by a sumptuous lunch.

Previous award winners have dined at The Ivy, The Mayfair and The Ritz; enjoyed a high speed boat ride, had a masterclass with some of the city’s best chefs and attended the London Olympic Games.
