Fiona Duff has become a Friend of the Guild.
Fiona handles PR for the land management and farming consultancy departments of Strutt & Parker.
She joined the company in August 2014 which marked quite a change of career having previously worked almost exclusively in the arts world with clients in television and theatre.
Fiona has also worked at The Scotsman newspaper and still produces work as a freelance including a regular column in Edinburgh Evening News.
“Working at Strutt & Parker has been really interesting and I am definitely learning quite a bit about land management,” she says. “The company are so good at what they do, and the staff are viewed as having experts in so many fields (excuse the pun) that I feel confident promoting them to the media. It’s an area that I have had little contact in the past so definitely a steep learning curve.”
Fiona is based in the Edinburgh office and also lives in Scotland’s capital.
When not working at Strutt & Parker she can be found walking her dogs or playing bridge – but rarely, she jokes, at the same time!
