The Guild’s flagship event of the year – our annual Harvest Service and Lunch – is once again welcoming support from both agri-business and BGAJ supporters.

Tickets to attend the prestigious occasion and fabulous day out on 11 October are on sale now at a special rate of £59 for BGAJ Members and Friends, and at £79 for non-members.

For our Harvest Service, we will once again be welcomed to the historic St Bride’s Church on Fleet Street – known as ‘the spiritual home of the media’.

This will be followed by a sparkling wine reception and three-course dinner seated in the elegant surroundings of the City livery hall, Painters’ Hall, a short walk from the church venue.

Guild members have been offered first refusal, but tickets are being opened-up to the wider agricultural industry, so don’t miss your chance to secure your place and invite guests.

Long-term Guild supporter and agricultural insurer NFU Mutual is this year’s lead sponsor.

As this year’s sponsor of the venue, we are delighted to welcome crop protection firm Certis; and agrochemical distribution firm Hutchinsons is generously sponsoring the wine.

Animal Nutrition business Alltech and KEENAN has taken sponsorship of the church.

We are also thankful to digital media agency, Breeze and Freeze for supporting film footage that showcases the work and activities of the Guild, to be shown during the day.

The display in the church will once again be provided by Bill Kelsey of Kelsey’s Farm Shop and our main course of British rose veal is generously supplied by the Buitelaar Group.

Derbyshire based Guild member and professional rural photographer, Ruth Downing, is once again providing the photography.

“The 2018 Harvest Lunch is set to be a harvest celebration, a networking opportunity and a chance to indulge in some of the finest British produce,” says Guild chairman Catherine Linch.

Thanks to the very generous support from our 2018 sponsors, the Guild has been able to set extremely attractive ticket prices for this year’s event.
