Dear colleagues

I have been Hon Chaplain to the Guild for some time, but I have been a church minister and an agricultural chaplain for many years.

As your chaplain I write to offer a listening ear to any member of the Guild in these difficult and challenging times.

I am happy for any member to contact me – by email or phone on 07710 379561.

I can offer a listening ear and a non-judgemental discussion that allows you to express concerns, frustrations or any of the other emotions that we are all feeling right now.

I don’t possess a magic wand and I am not a miracle worker, but the old adage of ‘a problem shared is a problem halved’ has proved true time and time again.

While I am a Church minister, chaplaincy is not about pushing religion on anyone. For those who appreciate prayer, I will pray with and for them. But that is not obligatory.

In terms of confidentiality, nothing I discuss with any individual is ever repeated.

So, if you feel you would like to get in touch either email me or give me a call anytime.

And don’t forget, in these difficult and challenging times the Guild’s Charitable Trust is there to offer some assistance to those suffering genuine hardship.

I pray that you and your loved ones stay well and safe.

Geoff
