Using stories and case studies to bring the law to life, this session will cover the essentials about copyright, intellectual property, libel and defamation on social media, websites and printed content.
It will highlight common legal pitfalls to watch out for and some useful resources to refer to if you want to know more.
Trainer, Becky Bocchetti, is a director of media training company ContentETC. Becky designs and delivers training solutions across digital, content, marketing and media law, supporting clients to get the best content in front of the right audience, in the right format, at the right time, for optimum results.
Her career began in direct marketing for a leading UK agency, followed by journalism, and the digital world in 2000.
She has won awards for content, social media and commercial activities at websites inc WGUK, ZSL and BBC Radio 2, whilst continuing to write for national titles.
She was a founding team member of Vizzavi, Vodafone’s pan-European cross-platform content offering.
