Hornbeam – the agricultural marketing agency led by Guild Member Rebecca Dawson – celebrated its first birthday with an expanded team and appointment by a new client.

Comexposium Haymarket Exhibitions, organisers of Cereals and Fruit Focus events, recently appointed the company to deliver its event marketing for 2018.

Hornbeam managing director Rebecca says: “We have been challenged to deliver a positive, hard-hitting event marketing campaign to re-launch Cereals and help re-position the event.

“We are delighted to be involved and are proud of the refreshed branding and ad campaign that has just gone live.”

PR for both the Cereals and Fruit Focus events will continue to be delivered by Agri-Hub, led by Guild Member Olivia Cooper, who Hornbeam is working with.

Alongside agriculture, Hornbeam specialises in the rural, food and drinks sectors.

The full-service agency has built a strong client-base since launching and has doubled the team from two to four people, including the appointment of Gill Shaffer, a drinks-sector PR specialist.

Hornbeam has also moved its office to a barn on a diversified Cambridgeshire arable farm, in keeping with its rural roots.

Rebecca adds: “I am extremely proud of all that we have achieved in the past twelve months.

“Building on our strong foundations in agribusiness and agriculture, we have also recently won brewery, drinks retailing and pub company business and have a number of interesting additional opportunities this year.”

Hornbeam is part of the Ferrier Pearce Creative Group (FPCG), an independent group of creative communication agencies with over 25 years of experience with offices in London and Poland.

The group has recently been ranked number 26 in leading trade journal – Design Week’s Top 100 in 2017 – up four places from last year.

The other specialist agencies in the group include property, financial, creative and digital.
