The Guild’s 2025 Yearbook, which looks back on past activities and ahead to events and awards to come, was distributed in early April – did you get yours?

All members should have received a copy of the Yearbook in the post; please contact Guild subscriptions manager Peter Hill [subscriptions@gaj.org.uk] with your mailing address if yours has not arrived.

The Yearbook is a major benefit of membership, offering a source of contact details for all members in a physical format complementary to the Guild’s Farming Media Centre online directory.

Listings include editors and staff journalists, experienced agricultural photographers (including drone and video specialists), freelance journalists, content and agricultural PR and marketing agencies, and marketing and communications contacts at farming and rural businesses.

A disadvantage of a physical publication is that some of its content can soon be out of date; so as a new facility this year, members can now download and print an update with contact details for members who have changed jobs, and also the details of new members who have joined the Guild since the Yearbook was published.

As a source of inspiration, the Guild Yearbook 2025 also provides first-hand accounts of the experiences of members who have earned travel bursaries through the Guild or won one of the many written and photographic awards on offer.

And also an insight into the Guild’s relationship with the international agricultural communicator organisations ENAJ and IFAJ, and the very special opportunities they offer members, not least the annual International Congress and European low-budget press tours organised by ENAJ.

The wider work of the Guild’s management council is also documented, providing insight into how the organisation plans to grow and evolve in the future.

Remember, if you move home, change business address or have a new telephone number or email address, please login to your account on the Guild website and update all sections as necessary. If you change jobs and no longer have a computer with your password recorded, email subscriptions@gaj.org.uk for a new one.
