John Eveson wins Guild’s 2013 Arable Photography Award

The Guild’s 2013 Arable Photography Award was won by freelance photographer John Eveson.

Judge Steve Flanagan of Safagrow said John’s picture was a quality photograph with excellent composition and summarised the need for agriculture to work hand-in-hand with nature.”

Runner-up was Farmers’ Guardian photographer Marcello Garbagnoli.

One judge commented: “Modern kit, modern farming. Is the operator taking a break – or is he simply relying on the tractor’s auto-steering system!?”

Judges were Jodie Deakin, picture editor, Farmers Weekly Group; Steve Flanagan, Safagrow; and Adrian Bell of Whisper.pr representing the Guild.
