Guild members enjoyed an informal networking and drinks reception at the 2019 LAMMA event.

The reception – kindly sponsored by FarmSmart Publishing – was held in the press office at the Birmingham NEC, on Tuesday, 8 January.

Around 17 members and friends enjoyed a delicious range of hot and cold nibbles and drinks.

Held inside at the NEC for the first time, LAMMA attracted over 850 exhibitors and 40,000 visitors from the UK and overseas.

The indoor venue provided a comfortable environment in which to view and discuss the vast array of agricultural kit on show.

This fostered a very upbeat vibe at the event and the reception.

Sponsor Andy Newbold said a few words of welcome and Jane Craigie highlighted some of the benefits of BGAJ membership – including international travel opportunities.

Exhibitors at LAMMA showcased tractors, combines, drills and cultivation equipment, feeder wagons and forage machinery.

Smaller machinery firms joined larger manufacturers to host a range of agricultural machines and equipment under the same roof.

The Guild’s next drinks and networking reception will take place at Dairy-Tech on 6 February.
