Guild Members are encouraged to register now for the 2018 IFAJ Congress, which takes place from 10-15 July in the Netherlands.
The congress theme is Dutch Roots – reflecting the global influence of Dutch agriculture and the fact that farming in many countries incorporates technology originating in the Netherlands.
Dutch agricultural innovations include drainage systems, auction systems and horticultural technology.
The 2018 IFAJ congress will address the challenges facing the Dutch agri-food sector over the coming decades.
Topics will include food security, urbanisation, ageing farmers, data and digitisation, raw materials and consumables, and the environment and climate change.
The 2018 congress is being hosted by the Netherlands association of agricultural and horticultural journalists (NVLJ) in close cooperation with Wageningen University – the world-renowned agricultural research institute that celebrates its 100-year anniversary in 2018.
