The host nation of the 2020 IFAJ Congress, Denmark, has launched the event’s website and programme.

The event attracts agricultural journalists and communicators from all over the world for five days with the option of adding pre and post-congress tours.

It takes place from 24 to 29 June in Vingsted and details can be found here.

Gudrun Andreasen, who is part of the organising team, said: “Website visitors can read about some of the 18 tours that we will offer during the course of the congress.

“In addition, the programme for the Danish pre-congress tour to Copenhagen/Zeeland is ready, and you can see the main items of the post-congress tour to Funen on the website.”

She added that there is great interest in the post-congress tour to the Faroe Islands and details would be released in early 2020.

During the congress there are three workshops about journalists’ working conditions (freedom of the press), about journalistic work methods (constructive journalism) and journalistic collaboration (cooperation across borders).

Registration for the event is expected to open in late January or early February.
