Groundswell
This fast-establishing event captures the interest of both agricultural and food journalists. As a result, the Guild of Agricultural Journalists has partnered with the Guild of Food Writers to offer members of both a chance to meet and enjoy refreshments at the end of the first day.
It is also an opportunity to meet the Cherry family, who host the event.
Non members are welcome but should contact the events secretary ahead of the event to establish availability.

Groundswell Festival 2026 takes place Wednesday 1st and Thursday 2nd July 2026, at Lannock Farm, Hertfordshire, SG4 7EE, UK
🥂 BGAJ members are invited to join the annual Groundswell media gathering on Wednesday 1st July 2026 from 6.30pm to 7.30pm in the press tent.
Kindly sponsored by the Cherry family, the reception will be a chance to raise a toast to the 10th Groundswell Festival before the evening activities commence across the site.
The reception is open to any BGAJ member or press attending the event. Complimentary press tickets are only available for working journalists, and accreditation is available here.
