The BGAJ is working with Just Farmers, to make it easier for mainstream journalists to get in touch with expert industry commentators and farmers on the ground. We know that farming can sometimes appear to be a world unto itself and are trying to build bridges with the mainstream media to make it more accessible.
This is a service for mainstream media professionals producing work on agriculture in the UK, making connections with with industry commentators and experts. Six BGAJ Guild members have put themselves forward to assist. They are happy to be interviewed and quoted on a specific subject, to explain how some technicality of farming works, or even to sense check an article before it goes to press.
