The UK is going to be hosting the April 2027 Executive Meeting and the 2029 Congress. We have a small working group and would really appreciate some extra pairs of hands, to help organise farm tours and other elements.
The Executive Meeting is going to be held in Wells, Somerset, although we will congregate at London Heathrow on 23 April 2027. We will then travel from Heathrow to Wells, with farm visits en route, stay in Wells until 29 April, followed by a return to Heathrow.
The congress in 2029 will be held at Harper Adams University w/c 9 July. We will have several farm visits in the vicinity, as well as pre- and post-congress tours to East Anglia, Southern England, the Dales, Scottish Islands and Ireland.
This is a great opportunity to showcase the best of British agriculture, and promises to be a really rewarding project. If you would like to help, please contact Olivia Cooper on olivia@agri-hub.co.uk
It would be extremely helpful if members of the working party have attended a congress – don’t forget that this year’s congress is being held in Croatia on 16-20 September, with pre- and post-congress tours to Istria, Zadar and Varazdin. Given the option for cheap flights, it’s a great opportunity to find out what the IFAJ is all about and to catch the congress travel bug – you won’t regret it! If you have any questions at all do get in touch.

Members of the Guild automatically become members of the International Federation of Agricultural Journalists and the European Network of Agricultural Journalists, giving them unique access to a global network of agricultural communicators.
