Event: Shaping UK Agriculture Post-Brexit
BGAJ Midlands Branch
Your opportunity to catch up on what’s going on behind the scenes
Chesford Grange, Kenilworth, Warwick CV8 2LD
Thursday 15 November 18.00 – 20.00
You are invited to the above event at which our panel of speakers representing both farmers and the supply sector will be making a return visit to bring us up to speed with some of their activities during the last 15 months towards achieving the best deal for the agricultural sector post Brexit.
These activities include official and semi-official talks, soundings-out, floating of ideas and endless internal negotiations in Geneva and Brussels with EU officials and COPA/COGECA, Whitehall with Defra, DTI, DExEU, the Secretary of State, Michael Gove, Westminster MPs, and senior Defra and officials.
- Tori Morgan, NFU EU exit and intl trade adviser
- Christopher Price, CLA director of policy and advice
- Paul Rooke, AIC head of external policy
- David Swales, AHDB head of strategic insight
This is a timely meeting to be staged as the UK government and the EU strive to carve out a Brexit deal acceptable to both Westminster and Brussels, as well as to the devolved nations of the UK.
We hope you will be able to attend. You are welcome to bring a colleague or friend.
Light refreshments; £10 on the door to cover costs.
Please indicate your intentions by email to liz@lizsnaithconsultants.com.
