Guild member Gemma Mackenzie has started her new job at the Press & Journal, Aberdeen as a reporter specialising in energy news.
Having worked for the livestock and business teams at Farmers Weekly, Gemma has returned to her native Scotland and is relishing the challenge.
She said: “I had a fantastic two and a half years working at Farmers Weekly both on the livestock and business desks. I particularly enjoyed writing about the dairy industry and delving into Scottish land tenancy issues.
“I decided I wanted to move back to Scotland and try something different so I’m now working at the Press & Journal writing about energy. It’s a fantastic newspaper and I’m excited to be part of a busy and vibrant team.”
