The BGAJ Harvest Lunch will once again be preceded by the traditional Harvest Service at St Bride’s, Fleet Street. This year’s preacher will be the Right Reverend Martin Seeley, recently retired Bishop of St Edmundsbury and Ipswich, who until earlier this year led the House of Bishops on rural affairs. His experience and perspective promise to bring a thoughtful and timely message for all those attending.
As ever, the service will be enriched by the spine-tingling music of the St Bride’s choir, whose performances are always a highlight of the occasion. The church will also be beautifully decorated with a display of harvest produce, kindly provided by Prescott Thomas, creating a striking and meaningful focus for thanksgiving. With the service starting at 11am, it will provide the perfect opening to a day of fellowship and celebration at the Harvest Lunch.
