The British Guild of Agricultural Journalists is delighted to announce that NFU Mutual will once again be the main sponsor of the Guild’s Harvest Lunch, taking place on Thursday 9 October.

The day will begin with a service at St Bride’s Church, sponsored by Alltech, during which the much-loved choir, sponsored by Merlo, will unveil its customary surprise take on a well-known piece of music.

Members and guests then move on to Stationers’ Hall for a drinks reception, sponsored by John Deere. This will be followed by a wonderful sit-down meal which has been supported by UK Agri-Tech Centre, accompanied by fine wine sponsored by Hutchinsons.

Alongside the celebrations, the Guild will present its annual awards and welcome guest speaker Richard Negus to address diners.

Guests can then look forward to the Harvest Lunch After Party at the Happenstance, just a short stroll from Stationers’ Hall, with the first drink on Grounded Agvice.

Guild Chair Ben Pike said: “Our sponsors are absolutely invaluable to the Guild. Their support doesn’t just help make events like the Harvest Lunch possible, it creates opportunities for our community to connect, celebrate and thrive.

“We are hugely grateful to all our supporters for the incredible impact their continued sponsorship has on our members and our work.”

Hannah Binns, NFU Mutual Rural Affairs Specialist, said: “As the UK’s main farming insurer with members at its heart, NFU Mutual is proud to sponsor the BGAJ Harvest Lunch. The day recognises the brilliant and talented work of agricultural communicators who give rural issues a platform and voice.”

Tickets for the Harvest Lunch are on sale now via Eventbrite. BGAJ members can attend at a heavily discounted price.
