Hours: Full-time – 37.5 hours per week
Location: NSA Head Office, Malvern, with hybrid working by agreement

A communications and marketing manager is sought to lead the National Sheep Association’s communications, marketing and content activity.
The role sits within the management team and will help shape how the organisation engages with members, stakeholders, sponsors and the wider sheep sector. It combines communications leadership, marketing delivery and editorial oversight.
This position will suit someone with strong communications and marketing experience, excellent writing and editing skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Key responsibilities
- Leading communications activity across print, digital and social media channels, ensuring consistent messaging and strong engagement with members and stakeholders
- Developing and delivering marketing campaigns to support membership recruitment and retention, event attendance and commercial opportunities
- Acting as editor of Sheep Farmer magazine, overseeing editorial planning, content development, production schedules and publication deadlines
- Managing digital communications, including the website, social media channels and wider audience engagement
- Supporting and developing members of the communications team, while contributing to wider organisational planning and delivery
About you
You will be a confident communicator with proven experience in communications, marketing or publishing. You will be comfortable working collaboratively within a small team and taking responsibility for both strategic planning and day-to-day delivery.
A commitment to UK agriculture and an understanding of the livestock sector would be an advantage.
