Members of the British Guild of Agricultural Journalists are invited to the annual Press Party at this year’s Royal Highland Show.
Held at the end of the first day of the flagship agricultural event, the party is for journalists working at the show.
It provides a happy and relaxed ending to a busy first day at the event – and the opportunity to sample some of the best Scottish food and drink while catching up with friends old and new.
This year’s Press Party will be held adjacent to the Ingliston showground press office at 6pm on Thursday, 20 June.
The four-day event is the pinnacle of the agricultural calendar involving over 1,000 trade exhibitors and 2,150 livestock competitors – with an annual economic impact estimated at over £46m.
The Guild is grateful to the Royal Highland and Agricultural Society of Scotland which provides the facilities for the party, including assistance from the official show caterers.
This year’s sponsors include Quality Meat Scotland (QMS), NFU Mutual (drinks), and Mackies (ice cream and crisps).
