Susannah Pate collecting her runner up award from Navaratnam Partheeban
PR expert Rebecca Dawes has been crowned PR Writer of the Year in the Guild’s 2023 Awards.
Rebecca, of Jane Craigie Marketing, was awarded the prize at the Guild’s Harvest Lunch in October for her feature prepared for LEAF Open Farm Sunday.
Her article aimed to demonstrate the positive impact of the initiative through the eyes of a farmer who had taken part, helping to raise awareness and encourage other farmers to consider hosting their own event.
Rebecca won a £200 prize, kindly donated by Oxtale founder and Guild member Amy Jackson.
Runner-up of this year’s award was Susannah Pate, also of Jane Craigie Marketing (pictured collecting her award from Harvest Lunch guest speaker Navaratnam Partheeban) for her material written for the Royal highland Agricultural Society of Scotland’s Presidents’ Initiative.
Susannah’s work highlighted the science behind food and drink in Scotland.
