Registration is now open online for the IFAJ World Congress 2022 in Denmark. The theme is Smarter Farming and Food Production for Green and Sustainable Growth, hosted by the Danish Food and Agricultural Journalists.
The main IFAJ Congress will take place in Denmark from 27 June to 3 July in Vingsted, with a post-congress tour to the Faroe Islands. The pre-congress tour will take place from 24 June to 27 June in Copenhagen and the post-congress tour will take place from 3 July to 7 July.
There will be 20 excursions over four days for the main congress, as well as meetings and a panel discussion featuring a Danish minister, a US government agriculture official, an EU commissioner, and directors of international organisations related to agriculture.
There is support available from the IFAJ-Alltech Young Leaders in Agricultural Journalism Award, which is designed to offset travel and registration for a young person working in agricultural communications to attend this IFAJ World Congress. Applications are still open but the deadline to apply for this is Friday 21 January, apply here.
Congress fees, which include room, meals and participation in the main Congress tours and events, are as follows:
